Teenagers arrested after a fatal shooting outside of Lidl in Maryland

An 18-year-old was arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal double shots in front of a grocery store in Lidl in Columbia, the police from Howard County said on Sunday.

Emmetetson Zeah from Columbia was taken into custody overnight and is charged with murder's first degree, first degree murder and the associated crimes. It is recorded in the Howard County Detention Center without a deposit.

Shortly before 6 p.m. on Saturday, the police answered reports on shots in the parking lot and the Lidl bus loop in the 10,300 block of the Little Patuxent Parkway. Officers found two youthful victims who suffered from gunshot wounds.

The 16 -year -old Michael Robertson from Columbia was declared dead at the crime scene. The 15 -year -old Blake McCray, also from Colombia, was brought to the shock trauma center of the University of Maryland, where he stays in a critical condition.

The investigators believe that Zeah had specifically focused on the victims, although the motif remains unclear.

A firearm and the clothes that Zeah wore during the shootout were recovered from his residence, the police said.

The authorities continue to investigate the circumstances in connection with the attack.
