Motta hailed 'extraordinary relationship' with Juve Match winner Vlahovic

Thiago Motta says he has an “extraordinary relationship” to Dusan Vlahovic after he had shown Juventus' match winner against Cagliari.

The Serbia striker scored in a 1-0 triumph in the Sardegna Arena on Sunday in a 1-0 triumph in the Sardegna Arena a winner of the 12th minute with a winner of the 12th minute in series A.

It was Vlahovic's first Juve start since January 29, but Juve Boss Motta welcomed the influence of the striker, who was thwarted on a few other occasions when Juve achieved a fourth victory in a row.

“He plays because he deserves it. We have an extraordinary relationship. He has a strong character and a strong mentality,” he told Dazn.

“Today he showed great professionalism and helps his teammates. It is easy to manage a champion like him.”

However, Motta was not entirely in love with Juve's finishing on the whole, whereby his site performed a number of missed opportunities, especially in a dominant first half.

“We had so many chances in the first half that we took the break and knew that it would be a problem not to end it, and then we inevitably suffered,” added Motta.

“In the second half, we lacked a little clarity, we suffered without admitting much, but without dominating in the first half.

Juve was unloaded from the Champions League in the PSV play-off round during the week, but is now in the top 4 in series A and in eight points from Leaders Inter.

Motta says that his team will only take one game after the other if they try to make the cover picture late.

“We have to make it a game, especially now that we get into the crunch time of the season,” added Motta.

“It is a very balanced league and we saw that the top teams fought this weekend too.”
