New source agrees with the Nintendo Switch 2 publication date, but warns of retail leaks

There is an increasing agreement on the likely publication date of the Nintendo Switch 2, but apparently it is not to trustworthy retailers.

Although the Nintendo Switch 2 has been officially announced, we still know very little about the console, whereby the revelation trailer explains almost nothing. There was a start of 2025, but it wasn't more specific.

Traditionally, new consoles start in autumn, but spring is the second most popular choice, as is the publication of the original switch in March.

Every time in summer it is extremely rare and yet the most ongoing rumor for the start of Switch 2 was in or at June – and that is also the prediction of a former member of the Nintendo of America sales team.

Speak in the podcast of Kit and Krista, Sean It was convinced that Nintendo will publish the Switch 2 before the end of summer and will announce the exact date of publication at the Nintendo Direct in April.

“You will want the system to be outside before the end of summer. At the beginning of the summer, at the end of the school year, I would say that children are talking about what they are happy for, «said Sean, as from VGC transcribed.

“I think we'll see a June start. Maybe I think in mid -June or a little later. But definitely before the end of summer, the thing comes out … there are good strategic reasons why the part of the consideration would be. '

Interestingly, Sean is certain that retailers know nothing about a possible confirmation in which it is a quarter and nothing more is told until the last minute – which makes sense, since most retail rumors have been quite obvious so far.

It is not entirely clear whether Sean has an insider knowledge about the date of publication or whether it is just a prediction based on his experience with the company, but his history seems to be credible in its history.

“You don't have this information. There is no way that even the target in the USA would know something … If we know the start date, the retailers will probably know the start date. Maybe one or two weeks in advance. I would imagine that the retailers may find out a few days in advance [of the Nintendo Direct]said Sean.

Although a summer publication date was rumored several times the center of the year.

It is unlikely that there is a single reason for this, but it undoubtedly includes factors such as the lack of new publications for Switch 1 and the Switch 2 is a portable console that is suitable for vacation.

Many have speculated that Nintendo also tried to avoid the start of GTA 6, since the two products are very different, it is certain that Rockstar's long-awaited sequel will secure all the attention in and around the industry for several months. And yet without a publication date, Nintendo is impossible to avoid it with certainty – except for a summer start.
