Powers Bluff Tubing Hill organizes the last day of the season

Arpin, Wisconsin (WSAW) – The lack of snow structure has affected many communities in Northcentral Wisconsin, including those who like to enjoy hoses.

The people in the Arpin area had two weekends for hoses in the Powers Bluff Tubing Hill this season because Snow was not on her side this year.

The Powers Bluff Tubing Hill has played an important role in the Arpin community for more than 50 years. It has a little different in the last than before.

“Winter definitely change. We used to be open all the time, the Christmas break and nowadays for Christmas. We open in February. So it's kind of strange, ”said Seth Berdan, member of the Lions Club.

Berdan helps the downward concession stand and since childhood.

“[I’ve been] With the Lions Club for three years, but my grandparents did this for about 54 years, so I grew up in the concession stand, ”said Berdan.

Now he sees children from surrounding communities who grow up on the same hill that he made. Two friends there said on Sunday, the weather seems to play a factor for how the snow feels.

“Today it is sticky here,” said Tuber Stacy Grunden: “If we climb up on the tow rope, they somehow slide.”

For another tuber, her main focus was on enjoying the time outdoors with your family.

“It was the last time we could come here. We just wanted to have fun on the last winter day because it was a early spring, ”said Destiny Hogan from Auburndale.

Kinden at Powers Bluff said that they hope that next year will give more snow so that they can enjoy more weekends outdoors.
