Hillsborough Town Hall temporarily closes in the middle of police investigations

The Hillsborough town hall is closed to support the city's police department after an official was shot.

“The city has decided to cancel the information meeting for the preparation planned for the evening of Monday, February 24th. We will be looking for re -plan after an alternative appointment,” said the civil servants of the town hall.

Officials said the closure would offer the police a place for more employees.

It is unclear when the town hall will be reopened.

Police officers said the department was specifically aimed at the attack.

The shootout caused protection in Burlingame.
