College athletes, employees evacuating after the bus catches fire on the Interstate – WHIO TV 7 and Whio Radio

Indiana – Some college athletes and employees had to evacuate on an intergovernmental Sunday after a bus fire.

The bus started on the Interstate 275 in north in Indiana around 4 p.m., our news partner WCPO reported in Cincinnati.

According to a social media post, after a game against Northern Kentucky, the basketball team of the IU Indianapolis men after a game against Northern Kentucky.

The IU Indianapolis Athletic Department said on X, formerly Twitter that the bus “experienced a mechanical problem” and caused a fire.

“All employees and employees evacuated the bus without injury,” they said.

WCPO said that no injuries were reported. The dispatchers told them that the police were working to determine the cause of the fire.
