The United States supports the decision of Israel on the delayed prisoner exchange

The United States government officially expressed its support for the decision of Israel to postpone the release of 600 Palestinian prisoners, which was planned as part of the ongoing ceasefire with the Hamas. Citing the brutal treatment of Israeli hostages of the terrorist group as the main reason, the US spokesman for the National Security Council, Brian Hughes, characterized the shift as a measured and suitable reaction to the actions of Hamas.

He also confirmed that President Donald Trump is fully prepared to support all decisions of Israel in relation to his strategy towards Hamas. The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also spoke on this topic and emphasized that the planned release of prisoners was delayed due to the continued violations of Hamas, including the use of Israeli hostages in propaganda displays, which he described as humiliating and both cynically.

Fatah's strategy for reintegration of freed -made prisoners

The Fatah party, led by the Palestinian authority manager Mahmoud Abbas, has announced plans to assimilate terrorists who were published in the recent agreement with Hamas in its organizational and national framework conditions. This announcement was made after the annual summit of the Fatah Revolutionary Council in Ramallah, where the party repeated its commitment to support the families of prisoners, martyrs and injured people.

The Council considers these persons as “heroes of freedom” and deserves extreme respect and priority in relation to protection and support. Despite criticisms and past controversy such as the Pay-For-Slay program, the party confirmed that the system of financial rewards for prisoners are transferred to an independent foundation and is maintained their commitment to support these people and to react to international control.

Netanyahu calls for the complete demilitarization of southern Syria and claims control over Lebanese areas

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has restored Israel's demand for the full demilitarization of southern Syria and emphasizes how important this is for the security of the local druze community and wider Israeli defense strategies. In an explanation at an IDF final celebration, Netanyahu warned that Israel would maintain its military presence in key regions, including the Hermon sector and the buffer zones along the Syrian Golan heights, to counteract potential threats. He also explained that Israel would continue to have strategic areas in Lebanon until the Lebanese government fulfills all the conditions of the ceasefire agreement. Netanyahu further increased his commitment to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, and not only noticed this for the security of Israel, but also for global stability. He also decided on the continuing military efforts of Israel against Hamas in Gaza and expressed a determination to reduce Hamas' skills and ensure the safe return of all Israeli hostages.
