Millington House Fire is critically injured by people

Firefighters with Shelby County and Millington reacted to the fire in the 2700 block of Russell Bond Road shortly before midnight on Sunday, February 23.

Millington, Tenn. – A man is critically injured after escaping a house in Millington in heavy fire and smoke in Millington.

Firefighters with Shelby County and Millington reacted to the fire in the 2700 block of the Russell Bond Road shortly before midnight and came to a house that was completely covered with flames.

A man had escaped the house, but according to a spokesman for Millington City, burns on his body.

He was taken to a hospital in a critical condition.

Firefighters fought against the fire for about 30 minutes before they had the flames under control.

The spokesman said the cause of those who had not yet been determined.
