Mizzou Football announces 2025 spring exercise data; No spring game

The Missouri Tigers will start a number of 13 exercises on Sunday, February 28, the team said on Monday.

However, fans do not seem to see the training personally, since the team does not prevent a spring game scroll in 2025 or 2026.

Several other college football teams across the country have decided to cancel their spring games, including Texas, USC and Nebraska.

The head coach of Texas, Steve Sarkisian and the sports director Chris Del Conte, quoted ESPN that various setups for spring practice time plans are required for the adapting world of college football. A USC source announced ESPN that Spring Scrimmages have unnecessary injury concerns.

After all, Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule is concerned about teams from all over the country who can observe his players in the program of the team's spring game just a few weeks before opening the jump window.

For Missouri, however, the team says that it will not stop one due to the ongoing construction in the Memorial Stadium. This building is said to be completed before the 2026 football season. A source announced Eli Hoff from the shipping of St. Louis Post that holding a spring game would temporarily pause parts of the building, a price that the program was not worth.

The NCAA enables the teams to keep a maximum of 15 spring exercises in a 34-day window. Missouri chose 13 in a 21-day window. The first five will be unsuitable practices.
