Lindblad fastest on the first day of the Barcelona pre-season test for Campos Racing

Arvid Lindblad ended the first day of the pre-season tests for Campos Racing. The Red Bull Junior Team Driver logged a 1: 24,415 meeting for the best time of day in the afternoon session and led Gabriele Minì from Prema Racing in the second and third places.

In the morning, Victor Martins led the way with Art Grand Prix when the Formula -2 campaign started on the track with the first day of the race.

MORNING

After a 45-minute delay due to fog, 2025 tests with installation rounds began, but it was rushed red in the first few minutes when Alex Dunne from Rodin Motorsport came to a standstill in curve 10. His car was quickly recovered and was resumed.

The basic setup tests continued until morning, with all short -term plans completed without setting laptets. That took half of the session until Max Esterson broke the Deadlock and quickly followed with a 1: 29.252 to determine the early benchmark.

His activity brought others to the tour, and Richard Verchoor was the fastest for MP Motorsport and raised a 1: 27,340. Improvements continued when Roman Stanek lowered the time to hit Invicta Racing to 1: 26.734.

Martins was the next driver who crossed the times for Art Grand Prix, the Frenchman made 1: 26.303 to lead with an hour in the morning.

The Prema Racing Duo Sebastián Montoya and Gabriele Minì recorded improvements to third and first. The 1: 26.227 of the Italian brought him 0.076s in front of Martin in P2.

Oliver Goethe from MP managed to split the couple and see within the preliminary time of 0.050s when the clock ticked the last 45 minutes.

Martins broke into the 1: 25s with 15 minutes and moved back in P1 with 1: 25.790. Minì stayed in second place in front of Goethe, Montoya and Stanek.

Dunne quickly put his interruption on one side and ended the sixth in the morning when Ritomo Miyata, Luke Browning, Lindblad and Josep Maria Martí followed the seventh to tenth place.

AFTERNOON

In the afternoon and veneer, the fastest time of the day was used 1: 27,710 in the first 20 minutes.

A red flag met for half an hour after Max Esterson found the gravel in Turn 5 in his Trident #23.

After the American's car was recovered, the green light was open and ran back when many early rounds registered.

Another red flag came with a little more than half the afternoon segment when Dino stopped between the rendels 6 and 7 in his Hitech TGR.

The teams continued with their respective running plans, since the focus for a large part of the afternoon session is subject to the Pitlane.

The time of Verchoor remained fastest for almost half a second, but Hitech TGR was on the right track again and started in the Dutch driver. Teammate Browning settled in third place, another 0.069 seconds.

Prema emerged from the Pitlane to take second and fourth place with Minì and Montoya. The Italian took 1: 25,987 to land by 0.277 seconds in front of the top.

In the last half an hour of the day, Campos Racing pulled to the top of the time. Lindblad led teammates Martí with the former on a 1: 24.415, 0.3s faster than the Spaniard on the second.

The red flag came a little more than 15 minutes before the end, this time for Sami Meguetounif, which came to a standstill in turn 2. With the distant car, everyone endeavored to get out again for the last 10 minutes.

Prema broke the Campos 1-2, with Minì finished the second and Montoya third, the Italian only 0.088 from Lindblad's earlier efforts.

Compatriot Leonardo Fornaroli raised invicta to third with a 1: 24,592 before a red flag brought the session to an early end. Meguetounif found the gravel in curve 4 in two minutes before the end.

It prevented further improvements that Lindblad put on the stack of the stack on the first day of Minì and Fornaroli.

Montoya was fourth ahead of Martí and the Rodin duo by Dunne and Christian Mansell. Browning, Stanek and Verchoor completed the top 10.
