Tyler Moody Table Tcnj Head Football Trainer

Ewing, NJ – Tyler Moody was selected as the new head coach of TCNJ, as announced on Monday by the athletics director Liz Shatkus. Moody becomes the 14th head coach in the history of the program.

Moody comes to TCNJ after a 14-year stay at Stonehill College, where he was spent over the past nine years as an offensive coordinator and the last four as an associate head coach. After Moody had monitored the offensive line for eight years, he recently completed his sixth as quarterback trainers.

Moody brings with it a proven track record of a strong offensive line game, which continuously built up its units into some of the best in the northeast-10 and a variety of all-conference actors are developed. In his first season as a run-game coordinator in 2013, the Skyhawks won part of their first regular season championship in the northeast-10 and ranked nationally in the red zone offensive in the top 25.

Moody was promoted to the Associate head coach in 2020, and the Skyhawks went 8-2 in 2021 before he officially played the Division I in 2022 in the first two seasons.

Moody trained 32 All-Conference players during his time in Stonehill, and his crimes broke almost every school record in the books and in one season in one season. The Skyhawks achieved an average of over 30 points per game in three consecutive seasons and even extended to their transition to Division I at the D1 level.

Moody is also a strong recruitment agent with a comprehensive experience in the identification of talents in the state of New Jersey. In each of the last nine seasons in Stonehill, at least 17 players either came out of the Garden State or played high school football there.

Before his time in Stonehill, Moody spent a season at the University of Massachusetts, where he worked as a deputy offensive offensive line trainer for No. 2 in the CAA. He led the recruitment of parts of New Jersey and the Junior Colleges of North California.

Moody spent two seasons as a defensive assistant at Amherst College, where he developed a few all-conference selection. He helped in all areas for the defensive coordinator and helped manage a national recruitment effort.

Moody is a graduate of the Center College 2008, where he was a four -year -old starter and senior captain for the colonels. He was a three-time all-southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) award winner and received the “All-South Region” award and took part in the Football Aztec Bowl of Division III in 2007.

Moody comes from Cincinnati, Ohio, takes over a program that went 6: 4 in 2024 and published his first winning season in 13 years.
