Mann accused after shot outside the Highland Strip Restaurant

Memphis, tenn. (WMC) – A man faces eight murder cases after a shootout in front of a Highland Strip restaurant.

The shootout occurred on February 9 in the Roosters Blues House in the S Highland Street.

The officials spoke to a victim who said that he and seven friends were in the restaurant when they had come into a fight with an unknown man after shouting at his friend.

After the fight, the group went to go when a man who stood with a raised black Chevy Silverado started shooting a weapon on his vehicle.

A woman was shot into the right side of her body and wrist. The group then went to the hospital for help.

Klaybon Kobeck(SCSO)

Klaybon Kobeck was later identified as a suspected shooter.

Kobeck was taken into custody and charged with eight charges for a second degree murder, who used a firearm during a dangerous crime and a vandalism.
