The Montgomery Central Wresting Team celebrates the success of the program record at state championships

Clarksville, TN Montgomery Central High School celebrated four state finalists and six state medalists at the state championships.

“We had Immanuel Gilmore with a heavy heart. The team used it as a motivation to appear at a high level, and wore T -shirts to honor him and 'IG190' sticker on our headgear, ”said Wrestling coach Derek Levendusky.

On the girl's side, 100 pounds Easton Dataomoff won a state championship title and had a perfect 41-0 as a newcomer. She dominated every game, including a 9-0 win in the final against Centenniel Evangeline Monge.

The return of the 2x State Champ Audrey Levendusky took the 2nd place with 152 and ended her season with 37: 1. In the final she lost 2-0 against the Sawyer of Science Hill after beating her 4-2 beginning of this season had. Audrey, a junior, is now a 3x state finalist and 2x state champion. She came back early from a serious hand injury in the late season to take part in the post -season and went on a run until the state finals. She now has 123 career victories as a junior.

138-pound jocelyn Kolozsy, a senior, had an incredible run to take third place. She had to beat a returning state champion and a returning state finalist to do this. Kolozsy lost in the quarters against Halai Cox from McGavock, who won a state championship title in 2024, but was all the way back through the Cox Consal and defeated the final game of Kolozys career in extra time. Kolozsy also had to defeat Maryvilles Delilah Queen, who achieved the final last season. She ends her season 48-5 and with 126 career winners.

Senior Audra Buckley has not placed her career, but had ended her career with a 2x state qualifier, a 2023 state medalist, and had 121 career winners.

On the man's side, the seniors Craig Sudderth (138) and Jeremy Mills (150) ended their career with an amazing run for the final. Sudderth lost to Signal Mountains Now 5x State Champion Ethan Uhorchuk in the final and Mills fell Soddy Daisy's Braylan Cosper. Sudderth defeated Wrestler No. 5 and No. 6 in Tennessee to reach the final, while Mills #5 Cory defeated the Big Tssaa stage. Sudderth ends his career as a 2 -subject state medalist (6th in 2024, 2nd in 2025) and Mills ended his career as a state finalist after having ended in the blood round last year. Sudderth's season record is 47-11 and he ends his career with 104 victories. Mills' season record is 51-8 and he ends his career with 123 wins.

Freshman 106 Jackson Levendusky also had a remarkable trip to the Tssaa State Championships, took 5th place and defeated wrestler No. 4 and No. 5 in Tennessee on the way. In the blood round (elimination before the medal round) he came from behind to defeat #4 Roman Rodriguez in autumn. In 5th place he came back from behind to #5 wants to throw Carter and win it until autumn. Levendusky ends his Freshman campaign 48-8, a regional champion, section champion and state medalist. He also broke the school record for newcomers at the beginning of this season.

In Central, two wrestlers also had the blood round (TOP 8) reached when Tamarion Johnson and Josh Hodges were eliminated in narrow games in this round in narrow games.

Trainer Levendusky shared a moving moment from the competition.
