Mexico, Canada tariffs “forward”

The border security measures announced Canada and Mexico, in response to the threat of 25% of the tariffs, not sufficient to satisfy President Trump. The president said on Monday that the tariffs “go forward on time,” reports CNBC. On February 1, Trump signed an executive order in which the tariffs for Canadian and Mexican goods were introduced, but days later spent a break after talking to the leaders of both countries. The Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said that thousands of other troops were sent to the border in response to Trump's concerns about migrants and drugs, while the Canadian border plan of 1.3 billion US dollars contained the appointment of a “fentanylzar”.

Trump, who spoke at a Press Conference of the White House, complained about trade agreements and said that it was “not only Canada and Mexico” that the USA “abused”, reports the CBC. “I accuse our leadership that this can happen who can accuse them if they have done these great business with the United States, the United States in the production of almost everything, every aspect,” said Trump, whose earlier administration Negotiated the agreement between the USA and Mexico Canada.

The tariffs for Canadian and Mexican goods that have dropped to 10% for energy from Canada will come into force on March 4 if Trump stays on the schedule. On Monday, Trump answered the question of a report on whether the postponed tariffs would come into force, but he might have mixed them with the mutual tariffs in all countries that he announced at the beginning of this month, reports Bloomberg. An administrative officer who speaks on the condition of anonymity reports Bloomberg that the fate of the Canada and Mexico tariffs still has to determine, but the mutual tariffs that Trump later discussed in the press conference will be as planned in April presented.
