Athletics of the University of North Carolina

Tallahassee, Fla. –Six Tar Heels scored two numbers and North Carolina played one of the best offensive games of the season on Monday evening in a 96-85 victory in the State Florida.

Carolina scored 55.2 percent out of the ground and scored 10 three points in his fourth victory in episode.

UNC has exceeded the state of Florida, 35-21, although the seminols are the second most dynous team in the nation in average. The Tar Heels achieved a 13:4 lead in offensive rebounds, 24-6 in points of the second chance and 42-24 in points in color.

RJ Davis Centemized Carolina with 20 points, scored 5 out of 9 shots, 3 out of 5 three-clocks and 7 out of 8 free throws with five templates. An aggressive Seth Trimble Hits 6 of 10 shots and scored 17 points, his best edition in eight games.

Jae'lyn Withers (11 points and five rebounds), Elliot Cadeau (10 points and seven templates), Ven-All Lubin (10 points and seven boards) and Jalen Washington (10 points on a perfect 3 out of 3 shooters) also achieved double -digit numbers for UNC.

Jamir Watkins of the state of Florida led all the scorers with 26 points. Jerry Deng had 16 for the Seminols and scored 4 out of 6 threings.

Carolina achieved the best winning streak in a row with his fourth victory in a row. The Tar Heels won five of their last six games and improved to 18-11, 11: 6 at the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2024-25. The FSU lost in four games for the third time and fell to 16-12, 7-10.

The Tar Heels improved under head coach to 29-2 Hubert Davis With at least 90 points. UNC is 6: 1 if he has reached at least 10 3fGs this season and it is 47 years old in the last three games.

How it happened
First half

• For the fourth game in a row, Carolina started his larger line -up of Cadeau, Davis, Drake PowellLubin and Withers.
• Carolina scored 7 of his first 10 shots, but the FSU started 6 for 11. The game was in the second time crossing of 19-all-all-all overall.
• The seminols met 10 out of 11 shots during an early route, but only led 32-30 when Carolina also started to shoot hot.
• Carolina used a zone defense for routes of the first half to counteract the FSU's height advantage (the seminols are the second most long -standing team in the NCAA).
• UNC LED, 49-43, at halftime. In the first half, Carolina scored at least 45 points in each of the last three games after this had only done twice the entire season.
• UNC-out-out-FSU, 17-6 (including 8: 0 in the offensive glass) and in the first half a 16-0 lead in the second chance.
• The banking points in the first half were 23-9 in favor of Carolina and the points in color 22-12 for UNC.
• In the first half, nine Tar Heels and seven of them scored at least two field goals in the first half.
• Carolina scored 54.8 percent as a team in the first half and marked the fifth time in the last six halves, and at least 50 percent was shot. UNC shot at least 50 percent in at least half of the last nine games.

Second half

• UNC started the second half with a 12: 4 run to set up its biggest lead at 4:58 p.m. with 61-47.
• The Tar Heels hit 7 of their first 10 shots after half -time.
• At the end of the second half, Davis became the third goal scorer in ACC history. After the game on Monday, Davis has 2,592 career points.
