1 dead in Fond du Lac County Officer participated

Town of du Lac (Wluk) – Wisconsin's Ministry of Justice says that a person is dead for an officer.

The MPs of the Sheriff from Fond du LAC were in the 6300 block of Cherrywood Dr. Called on Monday evening.

They were contacted by someone who had an arrest warrant and that the same person seemed to have a pistol in their covenant.

The MPs say that the person did not follow their commands when they found them a short time later. One of the MPs fired a non -fatal weapon.

Shortly afterwards, the MPs say that the person showed what they thought was a firearm. In response to this, a second deputy hit the person.

They were taken to the hospital where they died.

No law enforcement authorities or members of the public were violated.

The representative involved is on the administrative vacation per agency guideline.
