Case background:

According to a criminal complaint by the officer Joseph Mansfield from the regional police of Southern Clarion County, the police were sent to the Wood Street on Friday, December 6th, to receive a report on a domestic disorder.

According to the complaint, Rearick became angry when he did not make a trip to work, where he reported that he was suspended due to attendance issues. The police said he removed a table leg and used it to destroy furniture and other objects and to leave the living room in a state of the disorder.

He then supposedly made death threats to the victim before leaving the scene in an undetected vehicle, the complaint continued.

In the complaint, it is clear that Rearick had previously received a transfer order from the regional police of Southern Clarion County, but continued to return to the residence and sometimes slept in a shed on the property. The police said the victim reported ongoing incidents of the destruction of property that spanned several months, with several objects in the house being destroyed over time.

Rearick was charged on December 6th at 2:30 p.m. ahead of judge Timothy P. Schill.
