The police from Howard County examined the double double murder; Suspect in custody

The 33-year-old Diagelo Smith is charged with two first-degree murder and affiliated charges when his grandparents died.

Ellicott City, MD – The police from Howard County examined a domestic murder in connection with the domestic murder overnight. The suspect was arrested at the scene.

Around 3:07 a.m. on February 24, the police were called to a residence in the 6300 block of the Red Haven Road to receive a report on shots. They met a man with a weapon in a vehicle parked outside the residence and took him into custody. The responding officials then found two adult victims who were dead with gunfire in the residence.

The 33-year-old Diagelo Smith is charged with two cases of the first degree murder and the associated charges for the death of his grandparents, Jack Dee Stokes (78) and Barbara Stokes, 65. Detective believe that Smith lived with his grandparents in the residence.

Through preliminary investigations, the police learned that the man shot both victims before returning to his vehicle.
Smith is recorded in the Howard County Detung Center without a deposit. The examination continues. Further information will be published at a later date.
