New Pickleball League “Paddlewar” will start in Palm Springs in April

Paddlewar is a new team base league that begins across the country, also in Palm Springs. The organizers say that “it offers a funny, competitive environment for players of all levels and quickly becomes a league for pickleball enthusiasts”.

You say Palm Springs is the perfect goal for all pickleball fans, whether beginners or experienced competitors. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the USA and grows over 171%from 2018 to 2022.

While Paddlewar is not new in the United States, it is in the Coachella Valley Brandneu this year. Rancho Mirage League's coordinator, Wendy Melcher, says it is a unique team concept because the rally point system and its national competitive opportunities.

The teams have the opportunity to determine their home place and play both home and away games. During the season that stretches from April to May, the teams will play each other to achieve state and regional competitions, which finally leads to the national championship at the end of the year.

The league is from the age of 18 and includes men's, women's and mixed game teams. Registration for this season is now open.

California is the fifth most popular state for pickleball, and Palm Springs even organized the USA Pickleball National.
