Timetable to shoot the death of the firefighter of Birmingham Jordan Melton

Birmingham, ala. (Wbrc) – Almost two years after the fatal shooting of 2023 from 2023 Firefighter Jordan Melton in BirminghamA Fairfield man was charged with his murder.

Melton was shot on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Feuerwache No. 9 in Norwood in Birmingham. He died only five days later from the consequences of his injuries.

On Tuesday, February 25th, the Birmingham police authority announced the 22-year-old Damien Laron McDaniel, 22, is charged with capital murder in Melton's death.

McDaniel is charged with 13 additional murders and 29 others, according to the Interims Police Center of Birmingham, Michael Pickett, including the attempted murder of Birmingham Feuerwehrer Jamal Jones.

Jones was shot next to Melton at Feuerwache No. 9.
