Pilot aborted landing to avoid collision with another jet on the runway in Chicago

Chicago, we:

A large tragedy was averted in the United States after a pilot from the Southwest Airlines had broken the landing of the aircraft at the last minute to possibly hit another aircraft on the runway at Chicago International Airport on Tuesday morning. The close call came when the private jet entered the runway without permission, said the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The incident that took place around 8:50 a.m. local time is examined by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board, says American Media Reports.

The video film material of the Nice accident was widespread on social media, where the Southwest Flight 2504 can be seen that the last descent for landing drops when a white private jet suddenly appears on his runway.

The Southwest Airlines pilot suddenly canceled its landing at the last minute, climbed to the sky and accelerated from the airport. The movement made it possible to collide with a private plane that was ready to lift off the same runway.

Later the flight landed safely at Chicago Airport after the flight crew had to carry out a potential incident, according to Southwest.

The plane was said to be just 50 feet before running on the runway before it was forced to lift. As a pilot of the private jet, the near -collision initially occurred back from the air traffic controller.

The air traffic control in Midway corrected the information and warned the pilot of the Jet to keep away from Center Runway 31 at least nine times. But the pilot apparently ignored these instructions.

The aircraft in the southwest came from Omaha, Nebraska, and the private jet, a Bombardier Challenger 350, drove to Knoxville, Tennessee, according to Flightradar24.

The Near -Misses on Tuesday came after a series of aviation disasters in the past few weeks, including the Midair collision between a helicopter of the army and a passenger jet last month, in which 67 people were killed.
