1 shot, 1 in the Renton Transit Center shooting arrested

One person was shot in Renton Transit Center, and the police arrested a suspect on Tuesday.

What we know:

According to the Renton police department, the officials arrested the suspect in the Transit Center in the 232 Burnett Avenue South after a person was injured in a shootout.

The shootout took place around 4.45 p.m. The victim was brought to the HarborView Medical Center with several gunshot wounds.

The King County's office now examines the shootout.

What we don't know:

It is currently not known what has led to the shootout or how far the victim's injuries are.

King County's office expected to have an update until Wednesday.
