The Texas baseball falls in close struggle with nationally classified TCU

Fort Worth, Texas-State State Baseball (3-5) came up on Tuesday evening against No. 25 on the nationwide TCU horn frogs (6-2) 2-4.

This was the second Big 12 opponent in a row for Tarleton State and her first game against an opponent this season.

Jaime Perez Runned the way and kept his hit series alive on Tuesday evening with two goals with two goals. Perez now has at least one goal in all six appearances. The senior also achieved one of the two runs for purple and white.

The horned frogs immediately reacted in the bottom of the fourth and scattered over three goals and a walk to put them on 3-2. Despite a walk of Lane Brewster And a single from Perez in the fifth inning, the game, was in favor of the Horned Frogs after Tarleton State fell victim to a few strikes.

The TCU tried its lead in the lower end of the fifth and put the runners second and third place without outs. Tarleton State Pitcher Ethan Jaques Get up and delivered two consecutive strikes and a groundout to keep the Texans within reach and to keep the TCU on a goalless ining.

The horned frogs drove in a runner in the seventh inn to make the game 4-2. Tarleton State could not recover in time and finally dropped his first street game of the season.
