Rosenbüsche produce 'plenty of flowers' with gardening tips

The garden expert Richard King am Dino Decking shared his top tips for connecting a beautiful rose bush in the garden.

From now on until March, bare root roses are the “best choice” to plant in the garden.

“During this resting season, the plants are less likely to have a transplanted shock so that their roots can find more easily before spring growth begins,” said Richard.

Make sure you are in part of the garden that gets appropriate sunlight when it comes to planting the roses with mere roots.

Richard explained: “Roses love sunlight! Make sure that you plant them in a place with at least six hours of direct sun a day to promote strong growth and plenty of flowers.”

Richer, well remote soil with “much organic substance” is the best way to cultivate rose bushes.

Mulating the rose plant around the base of the rose plant “helps to keep moisture, suppress weeds and regulate the floor temperature, which creates the perfect environment for healthy, flourishing roses”.

At this time of year, the Rosenbusch builds strong roots, so it does not need much irrigation.

“If there are regular rainfall, additional irrigation may not be required,” said Richard.

But if there is a drying magic or they live in a particularly cold and dry climate, it is sufficient to pour the rose bush to prevent the roots from drying out.

“Water at the base of the plant to avoid that fungal diseases such as black spots or mildew are encouraged,” said Richard.

“When the soil is frozen, avoid the whole overall, since the roots are not able to absorb moisture.”

If you already have an existing rose bush, the best time is to curtail it before the new growth begins in spring.

It is also time to add rose fertilizer to promote the “abundant flowers” during the next season.

Richard added: “Roses take time to establish themselves, especially if they have just planted a rose with mere roots.

“Don't worry if you do not see a lot of growth because it takes time to establish strong roots.

“You should start blooming strong, healthy new shoots and beautiful flowers until late spring and early summer.”
