The Bianchet B 1.618 Ultrafino, A Slim Tourbillon Sports clock

Bianchet is an independent watch brand founded by Rodolfo and Emmanuelle Festa-Bianchet, whose studio is located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The brand has been offering modern Tonneau-shaped watches since 2021, which are powered by architectural, open tourbillon movements. Since watches and miracles and its secondary events approach quickly, Bianchet reveals a new model called B 1.618 Ultrafino, which introduces several unprecedented functions for the brand: its first ultra-thin design, its first metallic bracelet and its first automatic movement.

Like other Bianchet watches, this new ultrafino of B 1.618 is modern, a style in which Rodolfo Festa-Bianchet's fascination for the golden ratio (1.168-Daher) is not only visible in the case Case, but also for the movement to shape the different bridge or its gold drum. However, it introduces numerous first functions for the brand. How the name is suggested with a feeling of Italian EleganceIt is an ultra-thin clock with more compact dimensions than before, although we are the first automatic clock of the brand. It is also the first Bianchet clock that is offered with a metal bracelet. Last but not least there is also a version with a closed dial with a “Golden Diamond” pattern inspired by the Clous de Paris.

The slim, curved barrel -based housing of Bianchet B 1.618 is 40 mm wide, 47.39 mm length and 8.9 mm thick. Therefore, it should easily slide under your cuff and will most likely offer very proportionally on most wrists. It is made out of the light titanium of the 5th grade and the vulcanized rubber to further improve the Tragemacher. Despite its thin architecture, the Bianchet B 1.618 Ultrafino offers serious robustness, as it is tested for a shock residence of 5,000 g and is waterproof at 50 m. Most recently, the watch has a 5-year guarantee.

In the Ultrafino of B 1.618 is the first automatic caliber of the brand. As with all movements of Bianchet, the new caliber UT01 is regulated by a tourbillon, in this case a one -minute flying tourbillon that beats at 3Hz. The opened suspended barrel delivers a robust 60-hour power reserve. Its architecture is based on a symmetrical positioning of the run and the tourbillon with the equipment train on one side and the keyless work on the other. Despite the ultra -thin construction, his complicated mechanism and different surfaces and textures lead to a convincing feeling of depth. The movement is manufactured in Titan and weighs only 8 grams. The gold drama has interlacing fibonacci spirals.

The Ultrafino from Bianchet B 1.618 is delivered with a release system on the back both with an integrated titanium bracelet and with an integrated rubber belt with a titanium folding snap – to exchange between the bracelet and strap. The bracelet combines H-links with faceted medium bodies and rejuvenates on a closer width on the folding buckle. The price is determined CHF 55,500 (excluding control) for the version with a closed dial and CHF 60,500 (excluding control) for the skeletonized version.
