Sign four Yuma Catholic Shamrocks to play the football of Division I

Four Shamrock teammates write history and sign their letters to intent to play football for programs of Division I.

Yuma, ariz. (Kyma, Kecy) – Four Catholic Shamrocks Yuma signed on Tuesday for Division I's football. Rocky Stallworth, Sir Stokes, Jeremiah Polk and Darryl Coleman each signed their intentions in the Carol Mecehmerny Oden Fitness studio.

This is a big milestone for these athletes and the program, since it is time in school history that four teammates from the same final class will compete at the division I level. In addition, according to Kyma recordings, it is for the first time for every Yuma County School.

Rocky Stallworth, this year's defense lawyer of the year in Arizona, signed the New Mexico state. Stallworth expects primarily to play as a long snapper for the aggies, while he fills with LineBacker if necessary. Stallworth led the entire state to 201 tackles in 2024 and at the same time served as a longsnapper in special teams.

“I had a lot of offers in division 2 and I knew that I could play on the level of Division 1,” said Stallworth. “It only took time and God replied my prayers. It turns out that New Mexico has the perfect degree for me, namely agriculture, and I will play at the division I level.”

Sir Stokes has been established in the past few years as one of the most dynamic broad recipients of the states and has signed Arizona at Northern. Stokes set up over 1200 reception furniture and 14 touchdowns in 2024. The playmaker believes that he ended up with the lumberjack at the perfect place.

“When [NAU] Looks a false adjustment, you will definitely throw it in and I won't get a double team or a triple team like here, “said Stokes.”[NAU] is closer to home and up there a linebacker coach who was a head coach here when my brother was at YC. So we only had a connection all the time. “

Hard hit Defensive Back Jeremiah Polk is classified by 247sports as a recruit of number 47 in Arizona for the 2025 class. He was originally obliged to play at Brown, but freaked over and has now signed for East Washington. The senior says this decision was rooted in the family.

“I felt like part of the family,” said Polk. “When I left the head coach's office, he told me that he loved me and that he would be there for me for everything I need in life.”

Darryl Coleman was a big playmaker on both sides of the ball for the Shamrock and he signed to play security for Utah Tech.

“When I grew up, I always dreamed,” said Coleman. “Dreams are great. So that's a blessing for me.”

Unfortunately, Coleman's senior campaign was canceled due to an injury. However, he is looking forward to being ready to choose the trail blazers when he arrives on campus.

“I've been attacking rehab since the Operation,” said Coleman. “I assume that I will run in the field in about 3 or 4 months. [Then] Come back into play, so that should be great. “

Five other Shamrock athletes signed on Tuesday. You can find more information about these athletes in the coming days.
