Deutsche Telekom intends to distribute a dividend of € 0.90 per share for 2024, the highest payment in its history as CEO Timothy Hoettges (depicted) celebrated another record period for the operator.

In a profit completion for 2024 and in the last quarter, Hoettges said that the company is growing “in all business areas”.

“Our flywheel in the center of our strategy turns and creates the swing we need to continue to build on the successes of 2024 in 2025.”

The planned dividend payment is subject to the approval of responsible bodies, and the company is planning up to 2 billion euros again this year.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, sales amounted to 30.1 billion euros, which increased 5.3 percent of the previous year after strong net customers in the USA, growth of its fiber events at the home market of Germany and the profits in Europe.

The net profit reached € 4.2 billion and swung back after a loss of more than € 1 billion for the same period in 2023.

Sales with the total year rose by 3.4 percent to € 115.8 billion, with profit by 37 percent to 11.2 billion euros.

In other highlights, Deutsche Telekom stated that in Germany 1.2 million new customers with an increase in mobile customers by 11 percent and an increase in TV customers by 7.2 percent.

At the end of the last month, the numbers reported in the fourth quarter of 2024 for its lucrative US unit, whereby sales rose 8 percent to $ 21.8 billion.
