New York (AP) – The New York Mets increased the depth of the Chicago Cubs for cash on Monday evening.

Canario, who turns 25 in May, made his debut for the Cubs in September 2023. In the last two seasons it is 12 for 42 (.286) with two Homern, eight RBIs and an OPS .857 ops.
