BSO examines the social media contribution in connection with the Broward High School

(WPLG)

Cooper City, Fla. -A high school in Broward County was put on the lock on Wednesday morning after a social media post triggered concerns.

Miranda Grossman, spokeswoman for Broward Sheriff's office, confirmed to Local 10 that an investigation is carried out at the Cooper City High School in the 9401 Stirling Road.

A spokeswoman for Broward County Public Schools announced local 10 times later that the incident can be attributed to “Social -Media -Post via a possible weapon on campus”.

The spokeswoman said that no weapons were found on the campus, and the school now has a “safe status”.

“All students and employees are safe,” she said.
