Villanova Women Reclaim Lead, Xavier men continue the dominance on the second day of Big East Champs

Review of a female review

The women of Villanova and Uconn went against the top night of every event on the night, while the other teams also managed to sneak a few artists into the mix.

Despite the wildcats and the huskies, both of which collect hundreds of points in order to advance in the overall ranking, each team only won an event, where Georgetown, Seton Hall and Xavier each gone away with a win.

Xavier Olivia Oyster blown into the wall at 22.57 to secure the victory, and narrowly finished Uconn newcomer Jessica Sheng (22.67). Oyster's victory took place after qualifying and a new school record with a time of 22.31 during the preparations.

Uconn dominated the 3-meter diving event of the women, put amazing six athletes in the A-final and took the first to 4th place. Olivia Denery Led the way and took the championship title home with 290.45 points.

The only victory of Villanova came in the 200 free season, thanks to the team from Carlota Colomer, Riley Kudlac, Lainey Quinones and Lexi Elkovitch. The Wildcats threw a time of 1: 31.29 and marked the fifth most in the program history.

Xavier and Uconn both set up new program records in the 200 Free Relay, whereby the musketers only beat the huskies by only 0.03. Xavier's oyster, Reese TurnerPresent Molly Dynda And Alexis Worrall I teamed up to publish a time of 1: 31.74 while Uconn's team from Sheng, Lexi MartinoPresent Maggie Rhodes And Maggie Donlevy A 1: 31.77 on.

Men's review

Georgetown initially records her early tour after winning two of the four events in the second night.

For the 7th year in a row, Xavier prevailed in the 200-Free relay to close the night. The team of Aiden LeamerPresent Kyle HudsonPresent Ethan Saunders And Gage Hannewyk Thrown down a time of 1: 20.54, set the Seton Hall (1: 20.83) narrowly and set a new school recording.

Xavier has now won the 200 free seasons at every conference meeting since 2019.
