Guardian's uniform changes for 2025, CC time plan published

Guardian's uniform changes for 2025, CC time plan published

As you probably know, the Cleveland Guardians announced minor changes to all “Core Four” fortons last November, according to the Guardians 2025 guidelines for the updated uniforms.

Let's quickly compare the changes from last season with this.

__________
Home:

According to the team, “Clevelands White Home Uniform will continue to continue its primary historical appearance with a script 'Guardians' over the chest. The logo shifts from a tendency to horizontally. New pipes will be on the neckline and the arms on the jersey with a red-blue-red design.

“A new home hat will make his debut in 2025, exclusively with the white uniform set, since the main color of the hat will turn into red with a blue bill. All hats will continue to contain the 'Diamond C', and the blue hat of the club with a red calculation is carried with all other jerseys (home red, blue, street gray). “

Style manual:

The new cap is probably the biggest change, but the sleeve and the collar cladding are also new. Interestingly, the team retains its 2024 pants, which have pipes that correspond to the 2024 jersey, but does not match the new red/blue/red collar and sleeves.

The photo day gave us our best view of the optimized home white:

__________
Street:

According to The Guardians: “Clevelands Gray Road Jersey will stay the same and will stand over the chest with 'Cleveland' over the chest in Bridge Print font.

“The pipes on the gray jersey will be the same red-blue red color scheme that can be found on the white house uniform set.”

Style manual:

Once again the only change here is the collar and the shell. And again the team holds the 2024 pants with blue pipes instead of switching to the New Jersey pipe lines. (Something that the New York Mets did and the pants have changed the trousers around the Jersey Striping.)

We have now seen that both the cardinals and the Phillies have gray street jerseys, with the “sun collar” being removed. However, since the guards now have a collar tube, their gray jerseys will keep the characteristic.

__________
Home alternative:

According to Cleveland: “The alternative uniform of the Guardians Red Home will show a new look over the chest, since the script Guardians from 2024 with 'Guardians' switch to the bridge print of the club via the chest. The red on the red jersey shows a blue and blue look.

“The new look enables the club to continue integrating the Guardians brand into the Jersey set, with the same font that can be seen in the number on the back of all Cleveland jerseys.”

Style manual:

This and the Guardians Blue Road change (which we look at in a second) most changes for 2025. Gone is the chunky, almost cave -like script “Guardians”, replaced by an all -OPPERCASE “Guardians”. And all new jerseys, the collar and shell pipes, have changed. It is now blue/white/blue. This could explain the team's decision to adhere to the 2024 pants – if the white pipe pipes became red/blue/red (to correspond to the white top), it would not match the strip pattern of the red jerseys (blue / white/ blue).

__________
Change of street:

The guards say: “The biggest change for the 2025 season will be shown in the Blue Alternative Uniform Set of Cleveland. The jersey will continue to have a naval base, but will move away from 'Cleveland' over the chest and instead show the Guardo Diamond C 'logo. The new look nods to nod the jerseys of the franchise, which from 1901-1945 also had a 'C' on the chest, including the 1920 World Series Team Trips, while the primary logo of the Guardian was increased.

“The pipelines on the Blue Jersey differ from the other uniforms because the jersey will have red-red pipelines to the navy base.”

Style manual:

This is the jersey that the team carried in spring training, so we got it in action in action.

In these photos it is difficult to say it, but it seems that the Blue jersey still uses the 2024 template from Nike, although the NOB has obviously returned to its normal size. As you can see in the second photo, Nob is red with a fairly thick white outline. However, as can be seen in yesterday's game (and it was also in Mike's ticker today), a villain appeared -nob that was advised in solid white with an apparently vertical bow (!) In solid white. I don't think we saw Val since the Braves stopped a few years ago. In the past, the jerseys for players who did not expect to have been made by Rawling with the Big Club (also known as “non -roster -inlades”). This is probably what the player wears in this screenshot.

__________
I still have a little uniform news from guards. The team has announced its City Connect schedule for 2025, and how the Toronto Blue Jays will wear their city connection uniforms every house on Friday.

The Blue Jays naturally have one of the worst CC uniforms in MLB (and that requires some). Therefore, it is 13 times too many to see these 13 games in one season. But the guards probably have them preferably City Connect uniform (certainly the top 3) and the wearing it only 13 times like 13 too few. So if you are in Cleveland on a Friday evening this spring and summer, you know that you have a university treat when you go to a Guardians game.

How great are they? All you would have to do is get rid of the “Cle” Wordmark and replace it with “Cleveland”, and these would change great home or serve as the basis for a future university design.

__________
And there they have it – a few updates for the guards.

What do you think about your changes? Have you improved one of the jerseys? I have the feeling that the new home and the streets are a thrust (they had also been the least adjusted), but I like the new red home cap. And I definitely think that the red jerseys were improved with the new Wordmark. I will probably come by on the new Navy Road, alternate with the big “C”, but I have nothing to do that the old “Cleveland” word mark that has replaced it.

Fire away …

(H/t too David Fisher For the alarm of the Guardian CC time plan!)
