Guide: tickets, parking, information for the Grand Prix of St. Pete

The event runs from Friday to Sunday and is expected to move to the city center of St. Pete.

St. Petersburg, Florida – on your brand, set, go! The Grand Prix starts on Friday and when you are in the area of ​​St. Pete in downtown St. Pete, don't be surprised if you hear the booming of the engines.

It is one of the biggest events of the year in downtown St. Pete, which is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors to the area around Albert Whited Park and the Duke Energy Centers for the Arts.

Tickets

Tickets are available on your website and are between 30 and 165 US dollars, depending on where you sit and how many days you go. The cheapest option is for general tickets on Friday. The general tickets do not contain a reserved seat. The tickets that are on the stands start for a day at 105 US dollars.

Park

Parking will be available for #30 a day in the Tropicana Field in the Lots 6 and 7 with a free shuttle service for race tracks.

The shuttle is from:

  • Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Southcore car park is also open for parking with a price of $ 25 a day.

Road closures

  • 6th Ave. S, 5th Ave. S, 4th Ave. S and 2nd Ave. S of 2,5th are closed.

  • 1st Ave. S and Central Ave. Se from the 1st street are closed.

  • The Bayshore trip south of the 2nd Ave. Ne is closed, with the exception of traffic to the landing.

Opportunities to continue by public transport

If you do not want to deal with road closures or parking spaces, you can use one of the public transport options.

The Sunrunner will operate between St. Pete Beach and the city center of St. Pete and bring visitors directly to Tor 1.

The trolley in the city center of Looper will also operate between Grand Central Station and Downtown.

If you want to travel from Tampa, you can take the Cross Bay ferry that is operated according to a normal schedule. However, parking is not available in Port St. Pete. Tickets cost 12 US dollars for adults.
