The local city and business leaders gathered in the city center to ground the 515 Walnut Tower too ground, a 33-story high-rise building that will change the managers in the city center of the Moines.

Although work was carried out on the site where the crews drilled holes for the structures that support the building, the official ceremonial podium took place today to celebrate the project and those involved in it.

The speakers of the event included Joe Teeling, the developer behind the project and founder of the St. Joseph's Group, the mayor of the Moines, Connie Boesen, and Tiffany Tusscheck, President and CEO of the Greater of Moines Partnership.

The tower will include 390 units, including studio, units with a bedroom and two bedrooms, a fitness center, a café and a terrace on the roof with open air and closed areas.

The estimated costs of the project are 148 million US dollars, with the completion of 2027 expected. After the end of the year, the estimated valued value will be more than $ 69.5 million.

It will be the largest residential project in the city center of Moines and the most important change in the skyline in the city center of 801 Grand in 1991.

Teeling said the tower would not only change the city's skyline, but also contribute to a flowering and lively city center.

The 515 walnut tower is expected to be completed by spring 2027.
