Lawyer of the Students of the Indiana High School, which allegedly planned mass shootings, wants it to be released against the deposit

Mooresville, Ind. (Wthr)-a defender of an 18-year-old who is accused

Trinity Shockley is accused of having planned a Valentine's Mass that was shot at the Mooresville High School.

It is currently being held in the prison of Morgan County without a deposit, except for judicial psychological reviews.

In a application submitted on Monday, February 24, Shockley's defense lawyer argued that it should receive deposit and that the ratings did not need.

Shockley is charged with a conspiracy to commit murder and two intimidation cases (threat to terrorism).

On February 20, a judge ordered that Shockley would be recorded without a deposit because it “is a considerable risk and a threat to the security of the community, others and itself”.

But in the new application, Shockley's lawyer says that this is unfair because only alleged murderers can be recorded without bond and the prosecutors have not asked for Shockley to be recorded without a commitment.

Shockley's lawyer also argues that she does not need a psychological assessment and is responsible for being in court.

The lawyer also said that psychiatric reviews ordered by the court are not confidential, so Shockley loses her protection of the fifth change before self -accusation if she receives one.

According to the application, “the order of the court calls for the accused to give up their fifth right of change if they want to consider the court.”

The lawyer also asks for an immediate competence hearing with the judge.

Shockley's next planned hearing is in May 2025.
