Warmest weekday, showers come up this evening

Myrtle Beach, SC (WMBF) – Our spring forecast culminated today before a cold front brings a short timer this evening.

TODAY

Today's temperatures will be warm and the wind will be airy. The morning temperatures in the lower 50s will climb quickly all day long, while a south -west wind penetrates in the warmest air of the week. The temperatures will be in the interior, where the highest stalls will reach the upper 70s. A few spots in the interior of the country will run a run at 80. It is important to note that we still shy away from the record temperature in Florence (85 °). Lumberton's record is 80 °.

Today is the warmest weekday. Today there will be an isolated 80 degree reading.(WMBF)

Here along the beaches, the temperatures rise to the 70s with a low mean. The sky will be largely sunny for most of the day, with only a few clouds increase in the afternoon.

In the course of the 1970s, the highest stalls climb the beaches with warm briots all day.

Thursday evening shower

Expect that clouds can thicken in the late afternoon and evening while a cold front approaches the area from the west. A rapidly moving shower line will accompany the front and move over the area this evening.

So radar could look if the line of light showers move through the Pee Dee.

If you look at the latest data this morning, the showers will go into the I-95 corridor near 6 p.m. This shower line will push further southeast and finally arrive at the Grand Strand around 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This short, round shower will shower this evening before midnight off the coast so that clouds can clear overnight. Rainfall will be minimal this evening.

For the weekend

On Friday morning, the sunny sky returns to the region and stops all weekend. An airy and cooler day is expected on Friday, with afternoon high in the lower to medium 1960s.

The temperatures will warm up briefly for Saturday when the maximum stalls climb into the upper 60s and lower 1970s. Expect a lot of sunshine and a fairly warm prediction for those who want to lead the Myrtle Beach marathon this weekend. Another cold front will push through the area on Saturday evening and initiate noticeably cooler temperatures for Sunday. Fortunately, this cold front is dry without rain in the prediction. Hochs on Sunday only reached the mid -1950s with a northeast wind.
