Photo story: Uga men Basketball defeated Florida

Georgia was rated an urgently needed thrust of Florida 88-83 in a home game on Tuesday evening that enable the Bulldogs an urgently needed upswing for the Bulldogs. Georgia opened a lead of 26 points with 7:53 in the first half, but Florida fought back to take over a short lead in the second half before the Bulldogs ended the victory for the first victory of head coach Mike White via his former team. Guard Silas Demery Jr. led the Bulldogs with 21 points, followed by the 15 points of Forward Asa Newell and Guard Blue Cain (12 points). The gators were led by Wachmann Will Richard, who strained 30 points in one loss. When the last clock sounded, Bulldog fans were waiting for teams and officials to leave the ground before celebrating the home square in the Stegeman Coliseum. The bulldogs will be back in action with street games against Texas (Sat., March 1) and South Carolina (Tuesday, March 4) before completing the regular season at home against Vanderbilt (Sat., March 8).
