Exploration of Naples like a visitor

I recently came across a great idea that I wish I would have thought of myself.

The idea was to look at our community with the eyes of a first -time visitor and to imagine what he or she sees. Kind miraculous and impartial.

Sounds like an interesting exercise. Something like that could go to the area for a newcomer.

I check the car in Naples and since it is late a day, I grab a hotel. My choice is the Inn in Pelican Bay, which was rated the best small hotel in 2024 as a trip advisor. And it doesn't disappoint. It's clean, bright and a bit funny.

The next day, after a short breakfast, I go to the Aqualane Shores district in Posh Aqualane Shores and sit down in a jam session in Dr. Jim Gover, in which old musicians drift old times, and fifth, six, seven, eight starts in two hours of knocking music. It is Dixieland from its best side. Indeed, the saints march one or at least 70 years, which play most of two or three instruments and are all ready to grab and sound the microphone. What a find for a visitor for the first time!

From there I drive to the Naples Botanical Gardens, take a stand-up lunch and hike between 10 hectares of swampland with an orchid garden and flowering trees everywhere. It is a turmoil of the color. I read about it and I'm not disappointed. There are waterfalls and gardens with plants from all over the world. The favorite of everyone seems to be the Asian garden with a pagoda. I take photos like the crazy tourists I am.

Since I then heard a lot about the award-winning beaches of Naples, I drive to the Loudermilk Park, calf into the water and paddle around in the 80-degree brand. Although I was a visitor, I remember to push the sunscreen, SPF 50. And I count myself happily when I see two dolphins swimming right off the coast and dive down some pelicans directly for dinner.

After I washed the sand and twitched with a shirt and a few pants, I do the harbor and a slap-up dinner in Bleu Provence, a restaurant par excellence that was recommended to me. It is a port for French cuisine that is carefully prepared by its Gallic owners. That and a killer wine list. Mon Dieux!

To complete the day, I drive to the Artis – Naples Campus that I told about

Orchestra plays a Sibelius concert and a Schostakovich symphony. (Not bad for a music fan. Fat Waller and Dmitri Shostakovich on the same day!)

I think that things can't get better if I can check in directly on the beach in the world-famous Ritz-Carlton resort. Talk about the lap of luxury. It's expensive, but what the hell. And it is perfect to see both the green flash at sunset and the sunrise in the early morning.

The next day I break out my pickle ball bat and hunt a game in the Naples Pickleball Center with over 100 places. When I survive, I go back to the harbor to go on a Charter trip into the Golf, where I hope that I can catch a little jack enough to keep it. Many things that keep me busy here.

This is a sample of what our community could look like with the eyes of a first -time visit.
