Lexington man due to criminal sexual attacks after January 1st against incident

The 30-year-old allegedly committed the actions on or around January 1, 2025.

Lexington, SC-a 30-year-old man, is charged with a small second degree due to criminal sexual behavior and contribute to the delinquency of a minor in Lexington County.

The Department of the Sheriff of Lexington County applied for the support of South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) to examine the case with Luther Jackson Truluck. Truluck was an employee at the Beechwood Middle School in the Lexington School District 1, said officials of the district.

According to SLED, the actions that took place on or around January 1, 2025.

LCSD applied for a forensic interview with the Dickerson Children's Advocacy Center as a follow-up for an out of control. According to the arrests delivered by SLED to News19, the 15-year-old youth said that Truluck allegedly picked up the victim and brought the victim to his house, where Truluck served the victim's alcoholic beverages before performing oral sex on the juvenile.

The examination showed that Truluck used an alias to obscure its true identity on Snapchat and was identified by a photo set -up.

Truluck was instructed to the Lexington County Detung Center.

Lexington District One sent an explanation of Truluck's arrest and said:

IIn such situations, the employee is immediately transferred to administrative leave until the result of the examination. This is an active and ongoing examination, and both the school and the district are fully cooperating with the law enforcement authorities.

As soon as SLED published his media declaration this morning, our headmaster Beechwood Middle School shared employees and parents to ensure that they heard this news from us. We understand that these messages are worrying and we are obliged to keep our school community up to date and at the same time respect the legal process. Our focus remains on the minimization of disorders on school day and on the maintenance of a positive, promoting environment for our students. We would like to ensure that learning will continue in a safe and supportive space.
