Haleeah, Fla. (WSVN) – New details were published in the event of a fatal shooting and an amazing incident in Halealeah.

7News cameras conquered a large police presence along the West 10th Court and 39th Street after Hialeeah's police reacted to reports on shots that were fired on February 12 at 10:15 p.m.

By early Thursday morning, Yasmani Matos and 50-year Milion Cao were arrested in connection with the fatal shootout.

The investigators say that Matos, his 16-year-old son and a few other men were gathered in Cao's house for a Santeria ritual when a dispute followed.

The argument escalated outside the house and prompted Matos to swing his firearm and make the victim unprovoked several times.

The attack then led to a chain reaction in which the initial shooting victim named Nodar took out a knife and stabbed Matos in the head. The knife was still in his head when first aiders arrived.

The 16-year-old son of the knife-pierced victim was a witness to the attack and tried to intervene and defend his father, causing his arms to be cut.

According to detectives, Cao opened when the Stabber tried to be unarmed, the fire and struck the alleged attacker fatally.

The police arrested him for murder after the incident, had a weapon as a convicted criminal and cocaine.

Matos was still in the hospital when he was arrested. He is now charged with the second degree murder. He still has to be interviewed by the police.

A hearing was made for Thursday morning.
