Jury to take action against father who was accused of shoting children

The jury's consultations will begin on Thursday in the trial of a father in Tampa, who is accused of shooting his children into their bunk beds and killing one of them.

An investigator with HCSO said it looked like five shots were fired.

“He didn't ask her to save her,” said the prosecutor. “He didn't ask her to help her. He said that nothing happened above.”

The other side:

During the final arguments of the defense, Bass's lawyer said that the state's claim was not true.

“Absolutely wrong,” said Bass' lawyer. “'Just please, please help my child.'”

The state followed this question that the defense asked the HCSO investigator and asked: “Have you tested on fire residues on the hand of the defendant? Didn't you do that?”

“Right, I don't have that,” said the investigator.

“Did you know at the time that the accused admitted that he had fired the gun?” The prosecutor asked.

“I did it,” replied the investigator.

“Did you think that would add something to the evidence?” The prosecutor asked.

“I didn't do it,” said the investigator.

During the final arguments, the defense also stated that there are holes in the crime scene, the autopsy and other parts of this examination.

“The children lay down, but why do we have higher ball holes?” Said Bass' lawyer. “We don't know that.”

The defense told the jury that in this case they cannot read between the lines. She said there is no evidence in the case of the state against bass.

“Where was this weapon before shooting? Who invited you? We don't know anything and you have to have evidence,” said Bass' lawyer.
