Cnn

Just a few weeks after the 2024 NFL season was completed, the first milestone event of the new campaign is here.

The 32 teams get the best opportunity to see the next harvest from College's prospects at the NFL Scouting Combine, in which the participants go through their steps in a row of attempts before the teams have the opportunity to select these players in the NFL design in April in April.

Here is everything you need to know.

How the tradition has become, the NFL scouting combine in the Lucas Oil Stadium – Home of the Colts – will take place in Indianapolis. It has been in the city annually since 1987.

The combination officially begins on Thursday, February 27th and runs until Sunday, March 2.

Here is the complete schedule and if every position group has tried:

  • Thursday: Defensive Linemen and LineBacker – 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Friday: Defensive back and tight ends – 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Saturday: quarterbacks, wide recipients and running backs – 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Sunday: Offensive Linemen – 1pm to 5pm et

Fans can see the future of the NFL via the NFL network, which will show all actions.

The drills in the scouting combination should offer a score that enables the teams to objectively assess the sporting gifts of any hopeful design.

Each position group will have its own unique exercises, but all participants will take part in seven standardized workouts.

These are the 40-yard fitting board, the bench press, the vertical jump, the long jump, the three-cone drill, the 20-yard shuttle and the 60 yard shuttle.

In the selection of exercises, strength, speed, mobility and jump capability are set up, and then your scores can be classified this year and also historically against your colleagues.

The position -specific exercises include the route that includes running and catching for broad recipients and throwing exercises for quarterback.

The 40-yard fittings board is often seen as headlines for the participants, with the current format having the perfect setting for athletes to show their raw speed.

Over the years, the record for the sprint was broken several times, most recently when the recipient of Kansas City Chiefs, Xavier Worthy, was completed in 4.21 seconds and broke the previous record of 4.22 seconds by John Ross.

According to NFL research, only 20 players in the 40-Yard dash have been run in the 40-YADD-DASH under 4.30 seconds since 2003.

The NFL has invited 329 interested parties to take part in the Scouting Mähdrecher, and although some injuries miss or decide not to participate -instead to train only on the Colleges pro day -the majority will adapt in Indianapolis.

Ohio State has achieved a national championship title and has the most mixed invitations at 15.

And many of the top rated prospects that enter the draft of 2025 are exhibited in Indianapolis. The two best quarterbacks in the class – Miamis Cam Ward and Colorados Shadeur Sanders – will work.

The Colorado teammate from Sanders and the winner of the Heisman Trophy, Travis Hunter, will also take part and present his two-way skills, while he works both as a wider recipient and as a defender.

Other big prospects – Michigan Defensive Tackle Mason Graham, Penn State Tyler Warren, Boise State, the Ashton Jeanty and LSU offensive Tackle wants to run back – will also be present.

One of the known absences of the scouting combinat is the defensive end of Penn State Abdul Carter.

Carter is overturned by many when the number 1 in April in April after three years in Happy Valley, but is overlooked in Indianapolis after the tests have shown that he had a stress reaction in his right foot that could require an operation.

Carter is expected to be selected in this year's draft in the first round of the first round.

But although Carter has not participated, he is confident in his own skills.

“I feel the best player in the country,” said Carter on Wednesday, “and the best player should be selected No. 1.”
