Internet users get concern about carbon monoxide poisoning after the death of Superman Star Gene Hackmans

On Wednesday, February 26th, actors Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead with their pet dog in their residence in Santa Fe. The authorities stated that after a preliminary investigation, they did not discover any signs of a foul, while the exact time or the cause of death was not announced, according to ABC News.

In the meantime, Internet users went to social media platforms to react to the sudden death of the Oscar winner and his wife. Many offered condolences and paid tributes. However, several users made speculation about Gene and Betsy's cause of death, and some assumptions did not match the preliminary findings of the police.

Many Internet users suggested that the couple and the dog may have died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Some even speculated that it was hard to believe that there were no signs of a foul in death. People have created similar posts on Reddit and X, in which a user (@Agkag45441) tweeted:

“Sounds like a leak, maybe carbon monoxide or something, when everyone has died, including the dog.”

Another user wrote on X:

“Carbon monoxide poisoning, as it sounds.”

“In view of what has come out so far, I assume that it was carbon monoxide or another gas leak,” added a tweet.

“I don't look good. Carbon monoxide? I just make guesswork,” speculated another internet user.

As already mentioned, many assumed that there is a possibility that a foul is involved in the case. A user tweeted:

“No foul, but three deaths at the same time? Okay …”

“How do you all die at the same time and not a bad game?!” interviewed an internet user.

“Everyone dead, but not a bad game? Little makes sense unless there was a harmful gas leak,” was a tweet.

The authorities identified the deceased people on Wednesday evening as Gene Hackman and his wife. Despite the speculation of internet users, the authorities have not confirmed anything about poisoning or a gas leak.

Gene Hackman decided to follow a career in acting at the age of 27

“There was something about him, that – as if he had a secret. They only knew that he would do something.”

Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman and Robert Duvall then formed a close -knit group, while trying to create their respective career in New York City.

In the same interview, Gene Hackman also spoke about his father, who left the family when the actor was only 13 years old. He said:

“It was so precise. Maybe that's why I became an actor. I doubt that I would have become so sensitive to human behavior if that hadn't happened to me as a child – if I hadn't noticed how much a small gesture could mean.”

Several internet users and celebrities, including genes Superhuman Co-star Valerie Perrine and Star Trek The actor George Takei spent condolences to the late actor after his death and paid tribute to the late actor.
