(Morrison County, Mn) -The office of the Sheriff of the Morrison County has published further details about the attempted ATM theft on Monday evening in Pierz. Officials now say they believe that there are three people who tried theft. They say that two suspects were involved in stealing the ATM while another person drove the escape vehicle.

The authorities also say that they examine similar incidents that took place in Pelican Rapids and Crookston last week.

The incident in Pierz took place on Monday evening at the Farmers & Merchants State Bank. According to reports, the suspects reported a chain of the machine and pulled it from their foundation with a truck that had been reported, which was stolen by Fergus Falls. The suspects then came into a newer light SUV and fled before they could load the ATMs into the truck.
