Hillsborough Fire Captain dies in prison in the obvious suicide, say MPs

A fire brigade captain of Hillsborough, who was charged last month for child pornography, died on Wednesday, a day after he was found by a bed leaf in the Falkenburg Road prison to end his life, said the MPs.

Nelson hired a private lawyer who in his name at a trial that was planned on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., about five hours before Nelson was stuck in prison, as recordings show.

This week, Nelson's lawyer also submitted an application in which the court was asked to reduce the bond or to release Nelson to his own recognition, as recorded. A status hearing in this case had been set for April 17th.
