Miami's police officer, which was involved in the apartment building in West Miami-Dade in the shootout

Miami-Dade County, Fla. -A police officer of the city of Miami was involved in a shootout in an apartment complex in West Miami-Dade on Wednesday evening.

According to MDSO, the officer was part of a multi-agency-task force, which at 9599 Fontainebleau BLVD led a “proactive detail”.

Further details on the investigations and circumstances that led to the shootings were not published immediately.

MDSO confirmed that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement examines the shootout.
