2024 OZSBI Economic Impact Report published

[West Plains, MO] -The Ozark Small Business Incubator (OZSBI) celebrates a milestone year with record numbers for the report on economic effects in 2024. Last year, Ozsbi dedicated 870 hours of cooperation with 243 unique business owners and prospective entrepreneurs and provided essential support that led to the successful start of 18 new companies.

Ozsbi's commitment to promote entrepreneurship extended beyond its headquarters when the team traveled seven County Service in its region. A particularly strong connection was established with the AVA Chamber of Commerce and its local companies. In addition, OZSBI expanded its free smart start: The development of a successful business workshop after Douglas County alongside its monthly local offers. This workshop has played a crucial role in leading small business owners through the first steps of business planning and financial management. A total of 61 workshops and events took place in the course of the year, which attracted 1,160 participants.

One of the annual goals of OZSBI is to support the entrepreneurial workforce in creating sustainable jobs with the growth of their companies. Last year, 84 new jobs were created by companies that supported Ozsbi. In addition, OZSBI customers achieved gross turnover of $ 24,020,639 in the last year and paid monthly salaries and wages of $ 2,139,745 to the employees. We also welcomed 6 new companies to the incubator, including caliber advice, Investors Choice Property Management, Alpha Realty, Travel by Rachel and Bridges Legal Service and Mers Goodwills.

With a view to 2025, OZSBI is to build on this success by continuing to support the development of strong companies and promotes new ideas and innovations in the Ozarks.
