He called himself Altdos when he contacted database advice for the first time in 2020. In 2021 he began to contact himself as a disord. Then in 2024 he contacted this page as a ghostr and recently as 0mid16b. Under every new nickname, he denied that the individual database supplies knew among former monikers, although due to his goals, his approach to prove claims and his extortion seemed quite obviously that it was the same actor of the same threat.

Now he was caught. Group-IB, who supported law enforcement in the catch, reports:

Group-IB's investigation teams in the Digital Crime Resistance Centers (DCRCS) in Thailand and Singapore have followed the cybercriminals since 2020. The main goal of his attacks was to pepport the endangered databases with personal data and to demand payment because it does not reveal the public. If the victim refused to pay, he did not announce the leaks in Dark Web forums. Instead, he informed the regulatory authorities for media or personal data in order to add a greater reputation and financial damage to his victims.

Later he also put pressure on his victims by sending direct customer notifications by e -mail or instant boting to force them to submit. In rare cases, Group-IB has also observed the cyber criminals that encrypt the victim's databases.

He expanded the sacrifice geography beyond Thailand relatively quickly and began to publish data leaks that were sold in popular dark web forums. As the owner of a large number of clear data leaks, it was highly valued in data leakage forums and ordered a higher price for the leaked data.
