WMTV 15 diaper drive mats take place on Thursday

Madison, Wis. (WMTV) – Thursday is the WMTV 15 diaper Drive Match Day, where your donations will be coordinated up to 75,000 US dollars thanks to the spacious sponsors.

The diaper drive is in cooperation with Village Windel Bank, which provides diapers for needy babies.

Each of two families fights diapers. On average, it costs 80 US dollars a month to make diapers available to a child.

For every diaper that a person buys in the shop, the Dorfwindelbank can buy three through a wholesaler.

The diaper needs are not covered by public support in relation to SNAP and WIC.

From 8:55 a.m., more than 46,000 US dollars were collected to support the diaper drive.

Volunteers with Fietorff arrived brightly and early Thursday morning to sort donations to the village diaper Bank. There are 16 drop locations in the community where people can hand over new or non -used diapers that will later be brought to Village Windel Bank by two men and a truck on Thursday.

Last year, a total of $ 185,418 was increased, which is 1,177,137 diapers.
