Dulles, Reagan National Airports made travel records in 2024

Dulles Airport and Reagan National Airport had 53.43 million passengers in 2024 – a record high for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Both airports also set individual records.

The total traffic at both airports combines 5.8%compared to 2023.

Dulles had 27.25 million passengers through the airport in 2024, compared to 8.4%compared to 2023. The last record of Dulles in 2005. Dulles had a record of 10.38 million international passengers last year, compared to 11%compared to 2023.

Dulles also looked at 17 routes last year – 10 by United Airlines, the dominant airlines at the airport. Dulles ended the year with 43 airlines for 138 destinations.

Reagan National had 26.29 million passengers, which rose by 3.3% of the previous record of 2023. At the end of 2024, Reagan had eight airlines flying to 97 destinations.
