Gas leak on Howell Mill Road, the people who were asked in place WSB-TV channel 2

Atlanta-Atlanta Fire Rescue asks people to protect themselves while the crews react to a natural gas leak.

Newschopper 2 flew over the scene in the 1800 Howell Mill Road. In addition to the shelter, Atlanta Fire said that traffic in the area was diverted.

A spokesman said it was a 6-inch gas main break and it was not a schedule if the area is reopened.

Atlanta gas light reacts to the scene and released the following explanation.
